She's graded VG10. If you have access to Coinfacts you'll see some other comparable examples. These coins were used and abused in their day! Thanks for playin!

    "She's graded VG10."

I could see VG8, maybe, but this coin is not near a fine.

Makes me wish that I had kept the PCGS-20 that I refused on an escrow deal here about four years ago this month. I still see these as all being graded in a different universe though. VG10 image

nice pleasing surfaces, strong obv rim, more than half of liberty, the deepest folds in the gown visible, reverse rim strong except for the weakness under QUAR DOL. (as expected for the date) VG10 is very accurate, tough to find a nice looking early CC quarter in lower grade... especially at that price image

Sorry,I just dont see it any higher than a VG8 tops. This coin is the twin to the Reiver coin sold in 06 as a G6. I was the underbidder on the ANACS VG8 coin in 07 that is slightly better than this coin and we all know ANACS overgrades coinsimage

i'll agree to disagree, this date is rarely that decent in lower grades.

I'd love to have it in my collection, and have no problem with it as a vg-10.
