PCGS slab displays?

  I believe board member "Solid" used to make some very nice ones.
  Haven't seen him around for a bit but you could try a PM and see if he is lurking.

  I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  I have four of these handcrafted wooden albums/holders for pcgs and ngc slabs, as well coin world holders. Will also work well with anacs or segs slabs. These are prototype albums made by an Ohio craftsman that were never put into production because of excessive production costs. But, these are quality wooden albums and I have used them for years. I have four available. Let me know if anyone has any interest. Each album holds 16 slabs. You can see them all at once which is a grat asset. Much better than stuffing them in a box and not really being able to see the slab/coin unless removed.

  I have sold a number of these 16 coin wooden albums on ebay and it was very well received by the buyers, easy to use and coins display very well
  I also have a single large album which holds 32 coins. This album is not yet finished but has to just be assembled as far as inserting the four trays after staining and varnishing. There were originally two of these sold and only this unfinished one remains.

  I still have one of the original and never used PCGS fancy wood boxes that PCGS used to sell a long time ago. I think it holds 30 PCGS holders, and I'll take $35.00 for it if anyone's interested.

  I am the one who made these display cases. As Tom said, it was too labor intensive to be a practical economic venture. I made several (and still have several) here at home for my own coins, with some of my less valuable coins therein.

  Im surprised there arent more of the display boxes that hold the slabs flat. Most of them hold ten to twenty vertically so you cant see the coin unless you take it out. I kind of had a dark finish wood in mind that could hold maybe ten or more slabs.
