Received the 2012 Infantry Soldier Proof Coin Today - Questions

Today I received the proof version of the 2012 Infantry Soldier coin today and I'm looking for an opinion on what if I should return it to the mint for a replacement or not.
When I opened the mint's shipping carton to inspect this coin I was struck by the following:
1: The jewelers case that held the coin did not have the mint's eagle emblazoned on the outside. I truly was expecting to see that and do feel cheated or let down by this.
However,
2: When I went to take the sealed coin from the jewelers case the plastic casing was loose and the coin was trying to escape (practicing its SERE training). I do know that this is not normal and should never happen unless one was seriously trying to get at the coin. Which I wasn't. The coin packing was seriously wedged into the packaging but what I was doing shouldn't have opened up the plastic casing. While I don't see any fingerprints on the coin, will the fact that the packaging was opened lead to toning down the road.
So what would you do? Keep it or return it to the mint and try again?
Any comments.

2. they don't take measures at the Mint to seal these airtight and in a vacuum. They are just damage protective capsules they stick the coin in and put the lid on. Inspect it for damage. If it's damaged you could exchange it. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
Also, lately the capsules have been wedged super tight in the cases. This is normal.
<< <i>1. this is how these come. the velvet box is just a velvet box with no logo or insignia on it.

This.
1. Coins do pop out of the US Mints airtight capsules
2. Those airtight capsules can be very difficult to remove from their boxes.
These two things have been occuring consistently since 2006.
Unless your coin was out of the airtight capsules and received damage or scratching, it should not be returned as the odds are extremely high that you might receive the exact same thing on a subsequent shipment. (See 1 and 2 above)
As for the toning thing, I could only hope that my modern commemoratives would tone up nicely! But alas, they don't!
The name is LEE!
Your hint that you might be dissatisfied with how they do things must not be tolerated.
It's just that I have never had a mint shipped coin come out of it protective covering. My comment about the jewelry case was just a passing comment.
perhaps you are not the first owner? Speaking generically, returns that meet a certain criteria are simply returned to stock, right?
Best,
Eric

How the heck would that happen, they just started making and shipping these about 5 days ago.

Got a pic?
<< <i>Thanks for the comments. I'm going to keep the coin and put it away for safe keeping for awhile

I stand corrected.
The mint box for the infantry soldier proof was missing a logo. These do not come with the eagle logo like with the proof Silver Eagles, but the proof silver comemmoratives do come with the Mint logo.
The Infantry Soldier proof boxes were missing the logo.
Just in this past year alone I've received two orders with loose coins - my 2011 Medal of Honor $5 gold proof coin and multiple coins in my 2011 American Eagle 25th anniversary sets. However, no coins were damaged from what I can tell.
<< <i>The few I have recived have had got awful haze !!! >>
Yep, my proof infantry dollar has some haze in the fields. I don't know what happened with these.
