475 (and counting) of someone's dirt riddled, nail bitten' thumb.

My apologies if the seller posts here (I doubt it), but if you're going to stick your thumb in a picture, for Pete's sake, clean it first!

Also, if you notice the Ebayer's username, doesn't the phrase "cleanliness is next to Godliness" mean anything??

    Could be Oreos?
  • I provided a polite hint to him a while back, but I suppose he just doesn't care. It does provide endless hours of fun though since he provides the "ZOOM" feature of his photos. By closely examining each picture, one can track the state of the dirt and his thumb and kind of piece together the order the pictures were taken. It's like figuring out different die states of a coin- except in this case its the different states of his thumb.

That's one reason I wish I still had some white cotton gloves handy. (Ruined 'em all pokin' through bulk Darkside coins and Wheaties, when I wore 'em to prevent Copperfinger Syndrome, which is the less pleasant variety of "green thumb".)

My white gloves got so nasty that even my finger would look better by comparison.

I've seen worse fingers (and nails) than that guy has, though. In eBay photos. And who can forget the infamous "reflective teapot".

I'm in the dark, but I have an idea....did the teapot reflect a little more than a 'thumb'?
