1943-S Bronze penny found in parking lot. Your Thoughts?

The president of our local coin club brought this to my attention today. An older couple (Winter Texans) found a couple of wheaties in a parking lot in Edinburg, TX (Where we're from) and out of curiosity brought them into our prez' shop. Low & behold, a bronze 1943-s cent. He tested it, and it isn't magnetic. However, the "3" really looks suspicious. The gentleman even told us he heard about the rare bronze 43 penny. Suspicion #2. Anyways, we took some snapshots, and said we would ask around what other experts thought. In the meantime, we immediately suggested that he ship it off to PCGS for authentication. He said he wanted to wait until we heard back from the experts. Suspicion #3. Below are some snapshots of it. So, experts, whatcha think?
