Las Vegas coin shop recommendations?

Any help would be appreciated. I'll be in the area soon and would like the names of a few trusted shops.

<< <i>Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. There's a bald buy, an old guy, a fat guy and a doofus. Try to deal with the doofus. >>
If you are talking about the "Pawn Stars" you will never see them working the counter at the shop. They have become too famous and draw too much attention when they appear.
As for the coin buys there, I thought that the prices were high when I looked a the coins they were offering.
<< <i>Allgood Coin, St George, UT a beautiful 1:45 north on I-15.
are they still open? the web site is down. what is the street address? there appears to be two?
<< <i>I went to just about all of the Vegas coin shops a few years ago. There is really nothing worthwhile IMO. The only good deals I got were from a local coin show that happened to be going on when I was there. Sarhara Coins is a nice shop, but they charge full retail and will not budge on their prices, at least that was my experience. >>
That maps with my experience to a "T".
I got lucky once and my visit coincided with a coin show I didn't know about. Great show and it was at that show that I met Charmy in person.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
But as others have said, Sahara does NOT budge on their coins and they are at FULL retail. But, if you want it (a widget to something fairly rare) then they most likely have it.
The shop istelf is a treat to behold, the floors (as you enter) have coins inlaid, they have a neat old safe, and lots of stuff to look at. It is worth a trip just to see it even if you dont buy.
Aside from Sahara Coins there are two others that I will go to, American Coins is mostly an EBAY shop and they dont have much to look at. Fremont Coins you have to ask for what you want to see and IF he feels like getting it for you, there is a good chance he has it. Otherwise there is not much to look at there.
Good luck!
Everybody have a great weekend and remember, life is short, enjoy every day....

Corner of Bluff and Sunset, upstairs. Then have a shrimp and mango taco at Bajio across the parking lot.

sold in the stores. Then they are offered to Sahara Coins in bulk. Tried to get in on that business
years ago and it did not happen. They are pleased with their relationship, it seems.
