Gotta ask. Do you find those great coins or do the coins find you? image

That is a group of WOW.

  • Yup, really something! I too find the 1881-S in 64* very interesting. It is my favorite look of the bunch.

    Thanks guys...

etexmike good question! A few i did the hunting for but a couple were put aside for me to look at from a good friend and another one i was told of a couple of years ago by another good friend...
In my collection for the most part i came across most either at auctions, dealers sites, or by word of mouth... This was my very first coin show and what a great experience...

bstclser that`s another cool shot you have of the Zig Zag... image

I read somewhere that you also acquired a toned Peace Dollar. Do you have any pictures of that? Would also love to see the rest of your Peace Dollars.

    Great pictures!!

I have to ask everyone....if the coins didn't have the fantastic toning would they even come close to the grades?

Especially the 1886 ms66, if it was blast white would it even maje an ms65?

Being a fan of textile I really like the 87...but they are all great..image

All are pretty stunning, but I think I like that 1887 (the first coin) the best.
I love a little fire yellow inside the tone.

jerseycat here`s the link to where i posted a pic of the PD and is another great shot from Todd... Someday i`ll post my other toned PD`s Link

Not sure DoubleEagle in the pic the chatter in the sweet-spot looks way more evident then in hand... But with that said why is the sixth coin down that is one of the most blazing Morgans i have ever seen with the super strike and VERY clean surfaces only a 4... Not that it really matters to me because on coins like those i seldom look above into the label anyway... image
But good observation and i`m glad it is certified as a 6 none the same... image

The 1880-S is off the hook when it comes to color along with those two textile's. Nice FUN picks as you have an eye for the extreme sweet toners image

Just wondering if you caught the Aurora's last night. There was a huge Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) that passed over the north pole.

No Rick sorry to say it was over cast with snow flurries...Darn we love to see cool light shows too... Thank you for the cool pic!

A few years ago i shot this in the back... Very seldom have we ever saw them this red as usually they are green in color but every now and then they have amazing colors... I know some will say i`m crazy but on really still cold nights we have heard them sizzle/crackle when directly overhead in almost a halo formation...
They can be very dramatic and have such an emotional effect when fluttering across the night sky simply amazing!
