POLL: Is it Pop Top or Top Pop?

keyman64keyman64 Posts: 15,650 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have heard both quite a bit and whenever I go to type it...I hesitate and think...and probably use them both equally. What are your thoughts?

"Top pop" for "top population" is more gramatically correct and sounds better to me.

If you "pop the top" on an older home, you are renovating it by adding a 2nd floor. We
see a lot of that here in Denver.

Top Pop is the correct abbreviation.

'Every now and then I like to pop my top,' at least that's what a sign featuring a buxom young woman said as she held a can of a beer brewed in Park City, UT. There were a few billboards with brewery advertising that appeared along I-15 when the 2002 Olympics were held in Salt Lake City. All were quite entertaining.

Is it a top pop when there is another graded as high but none higher?
I have a few of those, here's my favorite.

    image

or only if it's alone as the highest graded (among RBs in this cse)?

    imageimage

If this were a poll like yours keyman I'd also have to ask "Or don't you care about graded pocket change?" image

Swampboy- I would have to say to your scenario...Tied Top Pop or just Top Pop would still work....it just would not qualify for Finest Graded or Finest Known at PCGS. image
