Perhaps a problem is that most of the top coins are so well known people wont be bothered to crack them out.

I thought there was already a +0.5 multiplier in the registry for coins that were graded a "+" from Secure Plus only. That would be incentive maybe for CAC'ed coins or something to be regraded to SP for the + designation and thus the extra 0.5 multiplier.

From the rules: "Coins that have been graded PCGS Secure Plus receive a .5 increase in the grade. In other words, a coin graded 65+ will be calculated as 65.5 in the Registry. "

<< <i>If you noticed...the best collections coming up in Heritage's FUN sale are all Secure Plus.

Let's see.... if the smartest guys in the business are putting the best collections in Secure Plus holders.......does that mean Secure Plus is a bust?

Well, let's just see what the prices realized bring.

Many of the best collections are already in Secure Plus holders, if we could only say, but our lips are sealed, and the sets are not on the market.

You might check some of the top collections that have been sold recently. If I remember correctly, Mr. Duckor did ok with some half dollars.....

Seriously, Secure Plus is the way of the future. You can count on it. >>

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

if this is about not grading the same coin 40 times, then do not let the market decide. This is your decision. Switch it all to Secure Plus.

For the price I don't put my ASEs in them nor my modern mint released silver Comm's.

I am using SP for the First Ladies because I want to support the service.

The more coins that go into SP, the fewer there are for the Coin Docs to play with.

Here is a big secret ...... just as many coins upgrade from Secure Plus holders as Regular holders. It makes sense if you think about it.

Oh wait, the ones that come back through puttied, tooled, or AT do get body bagged, but you shouldn't be worried about that. >>

What percentage of SP submissions or resubmissions find coins that were altered or doctored since the previous submission.

Maybe we should entomb the pyramids in Lucite so the weather and tourists will stop effecting them.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

It took me twenty years to use the regular service. I'm no authority on any of it.
