1823 Bust half--comments welcome-With grading Poll
Hello, here is a 1823 Bust half that I have had for many years. Do you think that it is worth grading or won't it grade for some reason-any and all comments welcome.Someone has attributed it as an O-110a. I do not know if this attribution is correct but i think it is.Sorry 'bout the bad pics -I do not score well in photography efforts .

Thanks, Bob

Your 1823 is definitely the O-110a which also happens to be known as the "Ugly 3" variety for this year due to the misshapen 3, and usually commands a premium when certified by either PCGS or NGC.
Your coin does look to have some luster remaining in the fields and the periphery but it is tough to tell from the pics without it in hand.
My suggestion is to send it in and see what PCGS says. It is a nice looking Ugly 3......good luck!!............Let us know how you do.
Here is my 1823 O-110a Ugly 3 PCGS AU58 for comparison.....
Nice looking coin that I do not see any problems with.
It exhibits at worst AU-55 details!

edited, I think it'd grade. I voted AU55
Good luck
