Right out of Todd's "darkroom," the first piece for my "box of twenty, US." Cartwheel luster.

Every time I think I'm ready to have a sell off, I start looking through my "stuff" and can't quite do it.
Great seeing you again at FUN - and love your new Half Cent.
I like Todd's image - also really nice coin.
I wish I had seen the coin in hand at FUN.
Snowing up your way ?

<< <i>It's nice as most 1835's are since Elmer Sears discovered a hoard of a thousand mint red 1835 examples in 1935. >>
Yeah, there must have been a hundred as nice as this one at FUN

A 50 box of 20 project and you could rebuild the entire hoard!
Most don't come like I want them.

<< <i>I REALLY want to start a box of 20 collection. That's a beautiful large cent!

EXACTLY my issue... What to do... What to do?
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
Most of the descriptions of the Sears hoard half cents that I've read mention that many of those coins were spotty or stained. The OP's coin is a true gem, with no blemishes in the pic at all.
I like it!

I knew it would happen.
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
