Morgan dollar with zits

But I like 'em! Blue and pink pimples that don't need to be cleared up.

I'd still kiss her in the back seat!

<< <i>You'll be happy to know that it is a HOT 50 VAM 1C also. See the MS-64 on my website. MS-65 is finest known. >>
it is my opinion that is not the 1A
check the die states and the clash
.
I'm gonna go with 1A2

<< <i>Good call Lance. I overlooked the clashes. I stand corrected. Very nice example, and probably of serious interest to the die clash/pitted die variety fanatics. >>
I was not 100% and was hoping we could narrow it together which is why I stated it was my opinion.
Of the Hot 50s listed the 1A2 is the only one I see with the clash and the more extensive pitting,
I looked west of the E to narrow it down, but I am NO expert with VAMS, not even close
.
It is not like I am proud to be home on friday night/sat morning eating my dominos chicken bacon ranch sandwhich attempting to attribute VAMs !

<< <i>Didn't know I had a die variety, is there any extra value to it? I see the clash in the picture. For some reason, this coin didn't get a star either, but maybe it was before they handed out stars. >>
i for 100% cannot speak as to actual value, but I am certain it would bring a premium.
if you post a picture of the holder it can be attributed as well !@! LOL
then it can be ascertained if a potential star is in order when you send it off for attribution?
.
The coin certainly will have plenty of appeal to toned dollar collectors without even considering the variety features.
The die rust on reverse below the left wreath, around N-E & D of ONE DOLLAR are the primary pickup points; the clashes on reverse gave it the added suffix to the variety enumeration, i.e. 1A, 1A1, 1A2.
