Wow Got Lucky On This Cheat!

So two years ago I purchased a bunch of 90% from this guy on Ebay. Was thinking about buying some more so I looked up his user ID again to see if he had anything up. I last purchased from him in July of 2010 and in October it looks like he just started robbing people or something. Check out the feedback.

He always sent me an extra dime or two just to be sure it was overweight. I wonder if he suddenly decided to cheat people, got hacked, or what.

That was my thought too , but work your way back in the feedback , every so often an item does get sent.The negs go back for months , does noone read feedback ?

That crossed my mind too since so many people said they had zero communication with him but it seems like some people got some orders that were short-shipped before he vanished totally so I lean more towards robbed people.

Sounds like he got caught up in the roll....

When silver is going up and up, it is very easy to buy and sell. When it goes down, you better know what you are doing and not be too leveraged.

I can't believe that Ebay doesn't have some internal software checks for things like that. When someone gets that many negs in such a short period it should set off some flags or alarms and the account should be frozen. Keep it frozen forever or until until a viable explanation is given by the seller and the buyers are made whole...

That is bad, I read one feedback that said the guy got a virus back from the seller in a return message.

Yeah when I had asked him where he got all of this silver from he said he purchased like a half ton at an estate sale. Not sure how truthful that was.

Even when silver is going up the fees on ebay more than make up for the thin profit margin. I've never understood ebay sellers of bullion. You can buy it cheaper off ebay and they are getting less than local sell prices after fees. The only winner is ebay. --Jerry
