I'm in Vegas at the Luxor and found a $0.16 slot voucher yesterday in a slot machine tray. I was happy because I put any "found money" into a jar for my granddaughter.
Well, today I cashed it in. 3 nickels and one cent came out of the machine. When I saw the change the cent was tails up. I noticed right away it was a wheat cent. I had to wait until I got to my room to see the date. A combination of bad lighting and bad eye sight, more bad lighting I'd say.
With better lighting I saw the date is 1952 D, in high XF grade.
I plan to put in back into circulation when I get home, to let someone else find it.

I think I'm currently leaving enough in Vegas. Still have tomorrow to turn things around.
But the wheatie is going back to Ohio to be released. Maybe I'll turn it loose in Denver, its home, during my layover.
A few hundred is all. That doesn't include what I've found for my granddaughter. She's up $0.33... including the wheatie.
