Are there any other auction outlets besides ebay to sell coins?

I haven't used ebay in a while. Between the paypal fee's and the ebay fees for one transaction; almost $85.00. I know there's Teletrade and Heritage, but I'm looking for something where I can list it myself. There has to be something better.

If you know what you want for your coin, try the BST. It's free and you have nothing to lose by trying there.

Ive had decent luck with local auctions in my area. Try Auctionzip.com to find one near you.

I agree with PerryHall... the BST is great.... and no fees. Cheers, RickO
  • You might want to try Great Collections if you would like to consign your coins. I sent them
my Morgan collection last month and did and am doing really good with GC. I'm not a poster
child for them but I have done eBay and the BST but for the least headaches and BS Great Collections
works for me. You also got Teletrade and the other big outfits to consign with. I found this site
the other day and did buy a few coins off it. They're kind a like eBay so you might check them
    out.

    Good Luck

eBay might have the lowest fees for the number of buyers (viewers) out there. There is a cost to market any product most people just don't realize how much it really is.

It all depends on what you are selling.

The BST is great if you have eye-appealing, PCGS/CAC type material. Just think about the type of coins that are celebrated on this forum. Rainbow-toned, premium quality, high grade material in PCGS plastic.

On the other hand, if you have inherited a bunch of damaged key dates, good luck with that. They sell for crazy money on eBay but won't appeal to the kind of collectors who hang out here. The right venue depends on the type of people you are trying to reach.
