NGC Storage Boxes?

Are the black ones rare like the Black Slabs themselves?

They are somewhat hard to find, but nowhere near as rare as the black slabs.

Paul has it right. These were issued up until at least the early 2000s, if I recall correctly, so there should be quite a few sitting around.

The styrofoam NGC boxes are the hard ones that are hard to find. Much, much harder than even the PCGS rattler boxes.

That's funny. I was submitting so many coins to NGC in the 1988 period that I had dozens of those things around the house. In fact I even used about a dozen
of those in a spare room to act as a temporary support for one of our beds. They were surprisingly strong little buggers.
