Express Mail didn't get delivered on time

Or at least is what the Usps website says.
My first concern is that the package got lost but if it eventually gets to destination, can I get my money refunded? How does that work?
The website says the delivery was guaranteed by today at noon but in my receipt there is anything like that. MM

Not necessarily so. Read the fine print...there are exceptions, such as an act of God. or perhaps a major snow storm?

The package was going from NJ to FL. It left the DC in NJ yesterday night.

I didn't have much trouble. They misrouted my 25th sets heading to PCGS. Went to the post office and got around $100 back.

Money is refunded on the spot ..have the clerk use the tracking # to verify delivery time .. the P.O. doesn't refund any insurance cost .. just the postage..

Even taking into account the New Years Holiday and the weekend, the USPS still moves mail around to destinations,
so there should be NO excuse for this Express package not arriving today, but it appears it will be arriving another
day. And now I'm bummed since I'm going to be gone for the next 5-6 days!
Crossing my fingers and hoping for a miracle in the next 30 minutes, but that's not likely since the tracking number
doesn't even say it's arrived in my state, let alone left the state it was mailed from (~800 miles away).
I'm happy for the seller/sender though, he will likely get his Express Delivery cost back (again, 30 minutes to go
Edited to add: Coin never made it by the "Guaranteed" Time of Arrival
I'm REALLY bummed. So much anticipation was built up. Oh well, hopefully it will still be waiting for me in a week
when I return
