My first coin related 2012 new year's resolution...

I just posted a Box of 20 set and noticed, again, just how bad some of the images are. To be honest, they really suck! And a couple don't even have an image. I've known about the lousy images since I sold my Two Cent set, about 7 years ago. Back then I didn't have a digital camera and had to use a scanner. It's a shame, and I'm embarrassed, to have such lousy images for such beautiful coins in the finest Two Cent set.

So... my 2012 (coin related) resolution... I'm going to re-image all my coins, at least, at first, those that are online. There are a few that may not need it. But I'm going to spend the time and redo them all. My daughter is a professional photographer and has a really nice camera. No excuse there. She's offered to let me use it any time. It's now just a matter of... doing it.

    Mine is to buy fewer, but more meaningful, coins. However, until then, I am going to keep piling up the crap. image

    I do not make new year resolutions... if it is worth doing, I do it immediately. No need for an arbitrary date (more accurately, meaningless date in the overall concept of earth-time chronology) to begin or end something. Cheers, RickO

    I'm not much on resolutions...but that box of 20 is very nice!
