What's wrong with this picture??? (1879-CC $1)

I had been watching this auction with ideas of bidding if it didn't get too out of hand...

but my gut said something wasn't right about it. The pictures aren't the greatest (flat, probably from a scanner), but I have found some of my best cherry-picks on auctions/BINs with crappy pictures. At first I focused on the mintmark - it just didn't look like any other 79-CCs I had seen. Then, with about 10 minutes to go, it dawned on me - the arrow shafts were parallel. As far as I know, all 79-CC reverses are of the "Reverse of 1879" type with the upper arrow angled. Clearly, there is a mismatch of obverse and reverse here.
So the bottom line is that the seller either posted the wrong reverse photo or the buyer is going to be very disappointed. It (the coin) could be a sandwich job - both photos are of the coin still in an album, so the edge is never visible, or it could be a shiny new issue from the far east mint.
It was too late to send the seller a question and too late to alert the Ebay police, and even then, giving the seller the benefit of the doubt, he could have just posted the wrong reverse photo. Any thoughts? Has anyone else had any dealings with this seller?

Whether or not the reverse pic was just a wrong pic, it is a reverse of a 78. I see a concave breast along with the parallel arrow feather which does not add up to the 79 reverse.
I don`t know the seller and for a coin of this value would have only bid if you could have asked that question before bidding. I think you did fine by not bidding.
Unless the actual coin was a 79-CC with a wrong rev pic. Nice buy price for a 79-CC in the grade that it appears IMO

The reverse pictured is the "Reverse of 1878" with a concave breast and parallel arrow shafts. There were no 1879 CC dollars minted with the Reverse of 1878. Since you are in Hawaii you probably haven't shipped yet, so you have time to correct the problem and do the right thing, and in doing so, preserve your perfect feedback rating. If the buyer gets the coin and discovers that it is a fake, I'm sure he won't be happy. Now if it was just a mixup and you posted the wrong reverse photo in your listing, I apologize. The first thing wrong is the seller says digital images, when in fact they scanned the coin.
But most importantly, the reverse has issues and you are correct about the 79 CC having the angled fletching on the top arrow.

That was pretty fast if it was Ebay that removed it and I assume it was, unless, of course, the seller is a night owl (seller is in Hawaii) and he acted upon my note...
