Maybe they thought you were smart enough to look it up yourself on their web site.

I don't have a problem with the grade, and as far as the * designation I'd have to see the coin in-hand. Often attractive toning doesn't photograph well. There are few enough attractively toned Walkers that if this one does look nice in person I'm not surprised they gave it a star.
The seller moved the price to US $795.00 but the auction has ended. Maybe he was trying to capitalize on the exposure by this thread and the thread ATS on his coin.
Here to me is the final verdict. The market has spoken. The * is effectively suppose to be a sign of premium toning/eye appeal on the coin. I would say that my idea of what a * should be and in 99% of the cases actually is, would make a coin with it listed anywhere near the price guide stated value, a bargain, that would be scooped up instantly. And this wasnt. So I dont think anyone considers this a * worthy coin. Find me a * coin that is clearly * worthy regardless of series, that sits there for even an hour let alone a day or a week, at PCGS price.

I have to think that the reason the graders gave that coin a star is because attractive toning is so uncommon on Walkers. That doesn't make it right though! Furthermore, I accept the fact that they will "blow it" every once in a while, they have been doing so since the inception of the designation. For the life of me, I can't understand why this coin has a * or a W.
It doesn't have exceptional eye appeal and is not blast white. So disappointing!

When I first read it I was sober. It is funnier now that I have had a few.
