Added a few more and have not updated this for a couple months. Sold my 1889-s 63DMPL and got a 61DMPL that has much deeper mirrors and better contrast.
Todd, all I can say is that the photo of that coin does NOT look like "doggie doo"! (no worries, folks, inside joke!) Seriously, Todd, that coin looks like an frosted pool of water!
Purchases are getting are tougher to fill holes in the set. I have added a few more in the past few months. In the main set I also took out some of the sold coins but still have plenty of duplicates.
<< <i>The 84-CC and 80 look really deep mirrored with frosty devices. I am sure the 85 looks DMPL in hand, but looking at your photo it doesn't even look PL
Nice additions, Todd >>
Maybe it is unfair to post the 1885 near the 1884-CC that is real deep. The 1885 is pretty close to DMPL, I really just wanted a doily DMPL. Mine is no where near your 1885!!
Great set! Of course it becomes harder to fill the holes. The remaining ones need to look something like the beauties you already have! These excellent photos represent a set that was very hard to put together. At least you already knew how to take photos.
Absolutely, the MOST BEAUTIFUL collection of Morgan Dollars I have ever viewed, Todd. Congrats 10 times over. Thank you for sharing with us. BTW, it is totally unfair for you to have so many duplicates, so just send me 1 each of "just your duplicates---your pick" and I know your conscience will feel so much better as will I. Jim

I've 'heard' of sheep herders, but never heard of dimple Morgan hoarder. Todd, I'm not a big Morgan fan, but your coins are totally tasty!!! Great images as always!!

Nice eye. The 61DMPL 89-s is much better than the 63DMPL, the 61 was cracked from a 62DMPL holder. I was happy to buy it after the failed upgrade attempt. There is a long story on that coin, short version: I found it under my table at FUN. Yep found it. It was in a bank money bag under my table. Not much in the bag but the coin and a submission form. Then I realized whose coin it was. So I contacted the owner and let him know I found it. He thanked me an offered me a reward for finding it. I said I prefer to buy it. Later on it was mine, I overpaid for a 61 but not for the look the coin has.
The 92-P has a great look. You should also check out the 1921-P 64PL CAC if you like some of the better dates.
Another update as it has been a while, added and removed a good number of coins. Added this time were about 8 doily coins, including a 1900-O, total pop about 50 and this is 1 of 2 CAC coins. Also a 1902-O, total pop about 60, 1 of 2 CAC coins. The 1892 is now a pop 1 of 2 CAC coins. A 1921 in 63PL was added and also 2 more CAC 1921 PL's, so there are 4 of the 13 CAC coins. There are other fun coins also, just cant remember them all.

It is hard to find the 1896 with deep contrasting devices like the one you have.
Beautiful collection!

That 1890-O 64 dimple is off the hook, they usually do not come that nice with frosty contrasting devices.
I also very much like your circulated pieces. Beautiful classic appearance on all of them. Great eye.
