**** NEW IMAGES ****1958-D Franklin MS66 NGC crossover to PCGS questions

<<<<<UPDATE BELOW>>>>>
Below are some images.............as cruddy as they are this is a very clean Franklin.
Under a loupe and my Dino scope I see no rubs, scratches or hits.....maybe a weak strike?
Anyways its in a MS66 NGC holder NO Full Bell
It appears to me to have FBL lines.
Question....what's the best way to crossover and try for FBL?
Send in slab with minimum MS66FBL or take a chance and crack it out?
Usually, I just crack and submit but I feel confident that its full bell, but not confident it will 66 again as there are many scratches on the slab
and without seeing it raw I cannot be confident it will 66
This is the closest I can get to a full image without reflection but does not show color and the scratch you see is on the slab

The rest show color and the last shows a up close image of the bell lines, but even with the dino lite it can't see through the scratches either

<<<<<UPDATE>>>>>.....remember these images are shot through the slab, I do not see any hits or scratches other than on the obverse
a redding hit in he=is hair.
I have some new images, do you think it will cross to PCGS as a MS66 and what change do I have at a FBL?

I'd submit as cross with a minimum grade as 66. Risk is too great to crackout.
My #1 Low Ball Peace Dollar Set
<< <i>I don't think you can submit as min grade 66FBL since it currently is not FBL.

Yes, you are right....I wrote was I was wishing for instead of fact
I would need to submit under crossover with minimum grade of 66 hoping they give it fbl.
That may be the best, safest way to do it.

Never crack out NGC coins unless they are a lock!

<< <i>very nice color coin ! looks like a ms65 at pcgs, i don't think it will fbl ? >>
i would be on-board for that
100% no FBL from the images
64 if the obverse has (rub) on the high points then up to 65 for nice toning
i would like to reserve the right to recant my opinion for the difference between images/in-hand
.
edited to add: a very nice frankie!

<< <i>I love the colors! I think it might FBL, but I'm not sure it will cross at MS66. Seems safer not to crack it out, unless you're willing to cross at any grade? >>
I plan on bringing it to the LongBeach show and see what they say. Submit in slab with minimum grade of MS66
That's the only safe way I can see to do it.

Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Overall I think the strike, and the bell lines a little soft.
By cracking out and/or crossing, you are always taking a risk, in this case, either it does/does not get the FBL you seek and PCGS downgrades it to a 65; get someone knowledgeable to look at it in hand first, in my humble opinion.
Any result yet Stephanie? Did you end up sending thru PCGS as a raw coin?
