Would you be nervous about this Ebay buyer?

RedneckHBRedneckHB Posts: 20,173 ✭✭✭✭✭
This guy just bought 3 coins I had ending tonight. He has 10,000 feedback, but all in the last 2 months on items ranging from coins and minerals to underwear and scarfs to hubcaps and Kitty figurines. Is it possible for someone to go on such a shopping spree?

It's Christmas season. And he/she apparently has cash to burn.

Send em an email and offer them everything you have!

That's some shopping spree in the last 6 months!

Heck, they will pay you via Paypal, so what's the worry?

Lotsa FB with comments like "paid quickly" all in a short time span. As long as you don't suspect a stolen credit card in use, just follow protocol for eBay and Paypal protection as a seller.

I've never seen anyone accumulate 10k FB for purchases in one year. He or she, must own an auction house or antique store.

    it's >30days and less than 6months

seems like they'd have been signs if a fraud.

did you try using toolhaus to search for false positives?

    For $70, I wouldn't worry.
He has feedback stating he has been paying. He may be on a spree, buying for others, trying to fill a new pawn shop, be lonely, etc.
May be multiple people in a big household/business.

Whatever it is, for $70, I think you would be covered with paypal much more easily.

Total purchases from me was about $200. He did pay immediately with paypal so I'll just follow Ebay/Paypal protocals. I've just never seen so much buying of such a variety of goods. His PO must love him/her.

A little research after payment and the buyer appears to be a trading company. I think a lot of goods are going to Russia.

Maybe he won the lottery or inherited a lot of money and is having a really good time.

He must be buying with a software program. He has bought several hundred items in a two day period of time--unreal. He/she bought something roughly every 4 minutes or so on the 15th and 16th of this month(16th not over yet).
Like previously stated, email him that you have more.
