Is a seated dime obverse/barber dime reverse mule possible in 1888?

  A person could go blind trying to see the differences (if there really are any) between the Seated and Barber reverses on the dimes.

  Once alerted to look, I can see many subtle but readily recognizable differences. I did not know that this item existed and to think this occurred 4 years before the Barber dime existed as a coin is crazy. Great eye Seateddime and thank you, Prethen, for sharing.

  An easy place to see the difference between the Seated reverse and the Barber reverse is in the veining of the leaves, incused on one and raised on the other.

  As stated above it is very easy to tell the difference.
