Hi there. Does anybody convenienetly know the issue price of the 2006 three-piece gold 20th anniversary set?
Was that the one that sold out in about 90 minutes, or am I thinking of something else?
Thanks,
TD

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I cant remember time to sellout -
$2610
I didn't have the funds then, but I have them now.
Anyone got one for $2610 ?
I knew it would happen.
<< <i>Capt'n, I think it took about 3 days to sell out. My cost was $2,610/ea. plus shipping, which was not free at the time. >>
ok, expedited delivery was available for an additional $12.95 over the standard $4.95 shipping and handling charge.
I'll up my offer to $2610 + shipping.
I wouldn't have shorted anyone the shipping!

<< <i>It sold out very quickly at 36 hours. Only 10K issued. --aap >>
Which makes the reverse proof one of the lowest mintage's of any gold coin and a "sleeping giant" to watch out for in the future.

you forgot those lovely first spouse coins, most of which are now being sold to numbers under 10k.

True some of those 1/2 oz spouse coins have possibilities, but I suspect that there are a lot more Gold Eagle collectors than Hag collectors.
Keep repeating....Supply & Demand
This may be more accurate than 3 days that I mentioned. I do remember it being longer than 1 day, which surprised me at the time.
I knew it would happen.

<< <i>Is there still a possibility for 25th anniversary gold set? Or just the 25th silver set? >>
Still a possibility. How could they not?
<< <i>What are the raw 2006 gold anniversary sets selling for now in the original government packaging? >>
Anyone know?

The last one in OGP to sell on FeeBay (Aug. 16th) went for $7K. Not bad returns for 5 years!!!

Thanks. I'm surprised they are worth that much. I'm assuming the reverse proof is the most valuable.

The Reverse Proof has been staying right around $2,900 to $3,000 in PCGS PR-70 and something less for NGC PF-70, typically between $2,700 to $2,800.
