my first EF45+ coin
I picked up my first EF45+ coin this week. This is the first I have seen, but this was not the reason I purchased it. Instead this is a variety I needed
for my set. This is an Overton 118, which I consider to be the true small 8 Large letter reverse, see how the words crowd together. If this is an EF45+ then most of my EF45's would be EF45++'s. Of course I am a little picky when i buy my set coins.
Honestly the + does not mean much to me, I was more excited to upgrade my set with this coin. I guess I would have liked a little luster on an EF45+. Now the strike is nice but the coin is a bit splotchy and has average eye appeal in hand.

THis 1828 is in an EF45 holder but is what I would call an EF45+. Strike may be a bit weaker, but nice luster and very good eye appeal.

Both coins are nice. I'm not a plus fan or fanatic.....just like the plus coin better......lot more detail.

You need some plastic polish for the scuffy slabs, though, it looks like. I've heard that Brasso works?
Those are some beautiful Busties!
