Interesting that the seller has 3 feedback, 2 are negatives, and the high bidder on this auction is one of those negatives.
Susan
Hmmm...Looks like a scan made from a photo of a coin. And a counterfeit one at that! Did the seller rip out a page from a book showing counterfeit dollars and scan it?
Looks to me like the high bidder is bidding only to sabotage the seller. He left negative feedback from a prior purchase not delivered upon and seems scorned. That is what I would do. The seller would have my high bids with no payment as long as I saw his stuff.
Funny!
<< <i>Welcome to the forums, Chrysta Hope you have fun here and enjoy! What do you collect? >>
Thanks! I collect a lot of everything! Lincoln cents by date/mm, Mercs by date/mm, U.S. type coins, Modern Commems, modern world coins, and anything else that I see and like.

Hasn't been updated in a while, but here is some of what I have. Please excuse the pop-ups...we are on a budget here, and the site is free!
The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
also impressive is the new rarity classification "Utura rare." (not to be confused with "Uhura rare," which of course are coins that were once in the possession of actors who had roles on the Star Trek series.)
i believe Dorkkarl was suggesting a whole new lexicon in the "what do you call rare" thread that would remove the ambiguity from numismatic parlance. if you're out there D., what do you think about this.
hey, you're not this seller are you? trying to foist your "new" words on us through high falutin auctions such as this?
that Buyersdelite is one trusting soul.

For a -1 seller, and a photo that looks like a clipping out of the newspaper.
Am I missing something here?

The negative that buyersdelite left is for this particular auction. Notice that the item numbers are the same.

I guess as long as the scammers are feeding off each other we should be safe for the time being. hmmm, maybe this is the REAL darkside!

That sellers response to one of the negatives was funny.
Response by magical_xanadu - I was away for the entire time of the auction, and i don't have a home phone.
Just the kind of guy I want to deal with on ebay. Leaves when his auctions are running and never contacts the buyers!
