A 1964 Franklin half (mentioned but not verified in Breen's Encyclopedia) would be mega-cool!

Yes, I do plan a $Trillion Dollar "National Debt Payoff" piece.
Also one with a China/Panda theme.

Yes, that one is near the top of the list.

Allthough 3 or 4 years away, a 50th anniversary Hard Time
Token in Silver of the removal of 90% silver in circulating
coinage and the devaluing of the dollar, could be pricey
depending where silver will be at then.

<< <i>My chocolate brown copper Uncle Scam token pocket piece is long gone. Have absolutely no idea what happened to it. The wife was out of town for 2 weeks and I lost it during an absolutely wonderful bender of an evening. Could have gave it to someone for all I know or someone took it as I liked to show it around. All I know is it's gone and someone has it or will find it. Either way it's all good. >>

I have, on occasion, left things like that as tips.

I want an '09-O cent, either Indian or Lincoln, but it does have to be a VDB.

The VDB would only make sense on a Lincoln cent.

<< <i>How about a Panda sitting down hugging and eating the world?

You could make a Chinese Panda Silver Copy coin and put in Brushed Chinese Calligraphy: ØÍ±Ò (yan4bi4) (counterfeit coin)

The fantasy part? The leaves are marijuana leaves.

I had in mind a panda lifting its leg (like a dog) on the world, as a reference to China's pervasive
copyright and patent infringement, "sweatshop" labor policies, pollution, etc.. I like your idea of
putting "counterfeit coin" in Chinese characters on it. >>

I think it would be neat if the "'counterfeit coin' in Chinese characters" bit was done as chop marks on the reverse.

I have two but I'm not sure what they are even worth these days. Anyone know?

Dan, I always (and have asked a few times) for you to sell errors as long as it is very limited and the guaranty that no more be produced of a particular coin.

    That would be way cool.

I sold two of the "1975-S" Ike Dollar double-over-strikes on eBay last month.

I have several "1933" Indian Head nickel over-strikes that were broad-struck.
Not sure what to do with those - I can't spend them and I can't really recycle tham like I can with silver scrap coins.

I picked up a Trillion dollar bill at a recent summer event. I just looked at it again. It is like those "9/11 Truther" propaganda currency replicas/satires, only this one is actually a religious tract. It's got Lincoln and the Memorial on the front and back. Never saw one like that.

Maybe a hobo nickel carver (or a few) could use them as canvases.
Or donate them to the Smithsonian.

Dan, I would like to see a silver coin with a tribute to Teddy Roosevelt. Perhaps with some Roughrider/ San Juan Hill depiction on the reverse or something related to the Battleship Navy or National Parks. Hm

Just remember that the 1964-D Peace dollars were not struck, released and recalled until 1965...........
