Cool Rock And Secure Plus PCGS Plus Morgans

Was out exploring on the Lake with Sis, Great Niece and my wife last week and found a very cool rock that has amazing colors...Have looked all over the internet and have found nothing exact to it...Anyone know what it is? Anyway as a comparison to some of the wild colors here are two PLUS Morgies of mine...The colors on the rock to find in the wild natural setting such as the cliff we all thought pretty amazing...Hope all enjoy...

It does look like an Iron/Ore mix... there's possibly some gold in there.

Nice photo's and morgans! Looks like a pretty fun day.

That's a sedimentary face will a pretty clear transition from a deeper ocean setting (all the darker rock, filled with organics) to an shallow-water or above-surface setting.

If I saw that 81-S on eBay I'd post it here as 'look at this ridiculous toner on eBay'. How is it possible for a coin to 'naturally' tone to this state?

Not to shoot you down, but it isn't Bismuth. Bismuth has a cuboidal structure, the stone he has is bulbous and more-or-less with out a defined structure.

I was thinking the crystaline structure had been fractured.

Wow thanks for the input everyone...I`m thinking it`s more rock then ore as the rock has layering and looks like with a nice firm tap it would break apart layer by layer...I wouldn`t want to chance that i would ruin it but it is tempting to see whats inside...There are 5 or 6 main layers with many (perhaps 20 or more) thin layers...The little colorful crystals on the top are actually part of the rock...I have looked all over the internet and have found nothing exact but some close characteristics are such things as black quartz and peac@ck coal...Although it`s definitely not coal it was found very near coal deposits...The colors are like that of a black opal but not thinking that with the layering of the piece...Also within some of the layers are what looks like layers of black glass...Perhaps black quartz? But with all the different ideas you guys had i started looking up rainbow or peac@ck type minerals and rocks and some do have similarities but nothing i have seen nails it...Anyhoo it is cool and one of the coolest pieces me and my wife have found in 20 years of exploring around here...
BTW bstclser thats one gorgeous Morgie you posted and thats me and my better half `s "Great Niece" in the pic with me...

SeattleSlammer thanks for that on the Morgies and they are a couple of my favs...
Thanks again for all the different ideas as to what the rock is and would love to have someone peg it just to know...
