U.S. Type Set
after some 12 years on the wagon from my drug of choice (pot)
I had a binge that lasted a couple of weeks
I am back in the saddle again now -
but may I say that that sheet is 100X stronger today then it was a decade ago .
altered state or not : the price guide should strive for perfection
<< <i>I had a binge that lasted a couple of weeks
What a waste of coin funds!
I spent damn near my entire adult life stoned ............
<< <i>What a waste indeed ,
I spent damn near my entire adult life stoned ............
Haha! PawPaul, this is FUNNY! But much better than having spent your entire adult life drunk.

... or married!
It might have been better than spending an adulthood dealing with reality.
I don't know, but Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd just don't sound the same way they did when I was young.
Ron
cant change the past .......
I was 46 when I got married , and my liver is in good shape
Now , as for that PCGS 1949 Franklin in 66 FBL that someone outbid me on tonight @ Teletrade :
I wanted it real bad - looked all of a 66+ and was pretty as a robins egg ...........
but some filthy .......errr, ahhh........... I mean some fellow Franklin lover was more determined to get it then me
<< <i>Didn't you pay Segoja , like, $900 apiece for a couple of MS66FBL 49-P's at few yrs ago? Decidedly less attractive than last nights TT example? >>
are you HIGH ??
I paid 450$ each for them ; and the one I kept has a lot of color Brother - it's a pop 150 coin for goodness sakes !!!
And u never know just how attractive /ugly a coin is from those T.T pix ..........
Good Grief man ; you telling me you would have shelled out 900$ for that one last night on T.T ??
<< <i>Could someone post a link to that coin? >>
I bet they could Katz 'ole boy ;
but u too could go to Teletrade and look at prices realized and see for yourself !
lazy fellers link
<< <i>Thanks for the link. Now, exactly what is it that makes that Franklin so special? I am still learning about the series. >>
Well it is a FBL for one thing, the toning is magnificent, and if PCGS gave away stars or beans on their slabs this would have em.
toning on early Frankies is not found to be as crisp as this normally.
Awesome Frankie..
and :
The coin looks damn near mark free and has monster eye appeal ,
not only that , but who/whomever is doing the bulk grading thru Teletrade is being super strict on the colored Franklins
..this particular '49 looks like it's knocking hard on MS 67 territory !
You want some solid super strictly graded Franklins without even a hint of a problem ? then bid on and win the freshly graded one's that are appearing in the T.T auctions
