Guess the Grade 1879-O Morgan Dollar

Here is a fun one for you or at least me. Coin is housed in a PCGS OGH. Coin looks muted in hand, not a ton of luster present. Unlike most my GTG threads the coin is not a PL/DMPL. Curious for your thoughts....

a 62 or 63 but like another post on another GTG said " with such
large and close up pictures it is hard to determine". In hand it would
have to be real nice and not have a cleaned look to it or the polish
marks on the reverse. Nice rims but for one ding at the ' E ' it's just the
color that does not seem right. Perhaps the photograph is mis-leading.

On these GTG threads people often say if luster this, or luster that so I wanted to make sure it clear this was not a blazing coin.

not trying to be an expert here;
been in the habit of looking for well struck Os and Ss, with particular attention to the eagle details; many 79-Os seem to have really well defined breast feathers (as well as a nice obverse);
the coin in question seems to be an exception- I doubt that you resorted to some kind of soft-lighting photographic technique here to soften the detail.

The only place I could begin to say is the hair directly above the ear. I'm no expert though. My AU58 super slider guess was meant to be funny and on the money because nobody was getting it. I recently picked up an AU66 1926 Oregon. Perfect everywhere minus the highest points that rubbed during opening and closing of a drawer that it sat in for 80+ years. Let us not also forget that he did say it had muted luster. I could see on the reverse, where those "hairlines" are present next to the wings in the field, I bet that area is muted. And I bet just enough to give it the designated AU58 grade.
