Nice strike -- can't tell for sure about right obverse field Might be other marks hard to see on my iPad. I'll guess 66.

well, i am not an expert by any means...but this one looked way better than a 65+ that was right beside it in the case.

should i:

a. crack it out and resubmit it to pcgs?
b. get it cac'd
c. leave it alone
d. give it to you *

* not really going to happen.

Hi,

in the new images the stab wounds in the legs are more apparent. How do They look in hand?

Edited to add: Also those 2 horizontal marks near the hand/foliage. Those are scrapes?

i think the picture accentuates it somewhat. i don't notice it at all in hand. i'm too busy looking at the luster and she's not bleeding out of those stab wounds. ;-) but there's no doubt that's where most of the damage is...along with the breast. but if people notice more problem areas, please educate me. how about the reverse? there's a couple marks on the branch.

I would leave it alone.

My personal opinion if the coin is not worth more then 300 over the melt value its not worth grading.

Of course there are exceptions to this rule, in fact I just sent in a 14-D 1c just because they are a lot harder to sell outside of a slab.

yeah, i see the horizontal scratches...i did not notice that before. that may be the difference between this and the 66 photos i am looking at. thanks!

Hi Steveben,

Sure

Try spinning the coin in the light at different angles as well to see other marks. Those scrapes across the hand/foliage and the "stab" marks are in perhaps the worst spots. Reverses are (generally) often strong on these coins, like Morgan 1$. Luster seems very nice but those marks will always stand out.

I dont know how either service "grades" Walkers. They are all over the place. I have 62's that are better than 64's. I buy the coin, not the holder.
