Small motto; IGWT in banner has smaller letters & G in GOD tilts left, bottom left set of leaves
above feathers has two cherries, group of leaves below left arrow shaft has 4 leaves.
Large motto; IGWT in banner has larger letters & G in GOD is not tilted, bottom left set of leaves
above feathers has one cherry, group of leaves under left arrow shaft has 3 leaves.

Small Motto vs. Large Motto

As a collector in the field, I prefer pick up point (PUP's) that don't rely upon a comparison to the other variety, because I usually don't have the other variety in my hand to make the comparison when I need it. Therefore, its helpful if I can remember a quick little PUP where I can immediately tell the difference by looking only at the coin in the field and not have to have anything to compare it to. I'm sure there are many other differences between these two that could be used in this fashion. This is just the quick and easy little thing I've always used, and never had a problem forgetting it.
