Take a $3 coin, add plastic, now you have a $42 piece of plastic with a $3 coin entombed, just amazing.

It's not the plastic, it's someone not trusting a sellers ability to grade properly.

I've never really understood grading error coins. I've seen all sorts of neat errors where it look like the coin literally blew up, with a grade of MS66 or higher in PCGS plastic. In many cases there's just a tiny portion of the coin that was struck as it should have been under normal circumstances. Do graders just grade that tiny visible area or what?

At least the two Corporations made money. The small guys, of course, lost their shirt on this one.

How do you figure both lost their shirts?
The buyer got a coin with at least $58 plus possibly $17 in return shipping invested in it for only $44.99 that he can share with his buddies over beers.
The name is LEE!
There`s someone for everything.
The seller had an opening bid amount and someone bid. End of story. That`s the way of the world.
