    I have proudly flown a large flag out my window all day. It was given to my aunt, on behalf of my Uncle Walter, who served in WW2 and Korea.

    Sorry, I acually tried to post a 230th Marine Core, but I don't
    have the smarts yet, it's gone to NO. 1 on my learnin chores
    to post a pic, I'm trying to find that thread awhile back about
    postin a pic.

    But the Marine Core 230th shows the Marines on Mt. Surobatchi
    raisin the Flag.

    Good editorial cartoon the other day. The image of the Marines raising the flag in front of a Delta Airlines counter. The agent says "We're going to have to charge you an extra baggage fee for the flag!"

    I have posted this before but for Flag Day will repost. A 49 star American Flag. Was only current for about 6 months in 1959 between Alaska ans Hawaii. Forgive the condition, I don't usaually mistreat our Flag but it has been boxed away for 40 years or so. Bought the flag when I was lot younger.

    Flag day 2008 is when I restarted collecing coins in a big way, starting off at a large local coin show with a Saint Gaudens $20 in PCGS MS65. This is the third anniversary of that day, and my collection has really matured over three years. Here is the Saint and my newest coin, both from J.J.Teaparty out of Boston:
