Always wanted to get into hockey when I was younger, I tried, but couldn't afford to do it. I even started slowly buying gear. I got skates, gloves a helmet and a stick. Now I know you can rent the gear, something I was never told back then. image

Anyway, I know it's not the same thing, but I sure loved playing street hockey...those were the days!

Congrats on the shiner...nothing like a "red badge of courage!" even if it's black and blue. Got myself some road-rash over the weekend doing the "Slickrock" trail in Moab, Utah...nothing better than Moab baby!!! I figure if you ain't banged up in the end...you didn't try hard enough!

    You seein' stars?

I love playing hockey, played from 8th grade to 12th grade, 5 years. Was a LW. Probably gonna take up roller hockey at some point in the near future.

    Gorgeous coin.

Pucks are nasty... As I quit that sport when in my teens when I needed an emergency root canal to reduce the swelling that made me look like the elephant man! image

I never followed Hockey, but that's what my son chose.
They are a different breed of person.
It's a combination of football, soccer, and golf....on ice.
Thankfully, he's also developed an appreciation for coins too.
