New Kennedys

My First raw Kennedy's for my new album
The funny thing is I paid $0.99 for each one.
the first one, OK it cost a little more
Last week I posted a set of coins not even a mint set
I bough for my Grandchildren of which I have three so fare, hoping to spark an intrest in them.
And I got o thinking why not start a few albums for them as well.
And the best pare is when we get to the expensive ones I will give
the albums to Mom & Dad who no nothing about coins and let them finish the set.
I think this is a good start.

Not too shabby! Do what other sets other than Kennedys do you plan on completing for your Grandchildren?

Good idea... not sure if it will make collectors out of them, but will be a nice gift from their grandfather.... Cheers, RickO

I am also working on a few Jefferson set and have just bough a few Ike's so I have added that to my list as well.
And my all time favorite is my set of sample slabs.
Now that is a very hard set and one I will never finish but pass on to be added to

For the grandchildren, by the time they are ready to really appreciate these coins, they'll be worth way more than 50 cents each.

I kinda like it when folks turn their noses up at these since it means that most folks aren't hoarding them away. This is a good thing since when this happens, attrition usually takes a very heavy toll and what was once common, quickly becomes scarce.

And what the heck, there's nothing sweeter looking than a nice high quality Cn Kennedy thats been sitting in an album stuffed away in some forgotten corner of the attic for 30 years or so.

Nice quality coins with natural toning would be a literal gold mine.
