Has anyone used paypal to pay for an eBay auction item in excess of $10,000?
There is a chain cent PCGS f15 I am thinking of buying. I would never send a check for that kind of amount without knowing who they are.

Only way as a seller I would want to go that route is with a e-check.
Of course I don't have any 10k coins to list.

You can always go the auction house route....10% seller fees + 15% buyer fees....wait 30 days, if lucky, for your check.

Not every auction house charges those fees. (eg. for a $10k coin, we charge 0% for the seller, and 10% to the buyer).

<< <i>As far as I know, the only issue (as long as your CC has that high of credit limit) will be for the seller. He won't get his money for a while as PP will put a hold on it to make sure the transaction goes smoothly. >>
PayPal will not put a hold on the money unless the seller falls below specific performance criteria.
