1921 Peace .... authentic Peter Max drawing/litho from 1983 ANA show?

1921 Peter Max

Not something that I would buy, but thought this might be of some interest here because of the history and significance of the ANA shows and was curious to know if this is authentic.....

It is almost certainly authentic. I remember reading about them when they were sold. It apparently is has some condition problems at the edges. The art market, like the coin market, discounts very heavily for problems. Value ... ???

the edges of fine art litho's are often rough it wont have an effect on the value unless very severe. They are made to be framed and matted this one was never mounted. It may be very under priced since Max's has taken off so well. very cool item.

These litho posters on paper were available thru the ANA for $10. It's titled "Liberty Lady".

The original would be worth well into 4 or 5 - figures. The Peter Max hand-signed and 300 numbered lithos run $3-4k.

I have a litho poster and love it. Peter max also did one of Winged Liberty (Mercury Dime) titled "In God We Trust" for the March of Dimes circa 1988 that is great looking.
