The court still has not issued rulings on the pretrial motions.
Both sides are probably working very hard on pretrial work up. Not having court rulings on the pretrial motions makes things harder for the attorneys to prepare for since they do not know what the judge will or will not allow into evidence, etc., etc.
Again, the trial is to start 7-7-2011 and trial dates are not easily continued.
Apparently the lead trial attorney for the government is currently in trial on another case. That probably will make things very hard for that attorney to prepare for the Langbord trial; and if the current trial that attorney is handling goes longer than expected [i.e. through the end of June or even into July] that may cause logistical problems.
So, I again ask if any forum members back on the East Coast are planning on attending the trial?
If so, please send me a PM to discuss.

Thanks for all the updates. Your Langbord threads are better than any coverage one could find on the subject.
I'm thinking about it.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
I don't think I'm going to make it.
