Who's going to the Long Beach show?

It's about a week away. I am sure many of the usuals will be there but hopefully so new ones chime in. Maybe a lurker will bring me a proof Morgan, hint, hint.

General Admission: $8.00 ($6 with the coupon)
Club Members (w/ Membership Card): $6.00
Seniors 65 & Up: $4.00
Children 8-16: $4.00
Children 7 & Under: free

I believe parking is $8, and some take the Metro rail to avoid that, some find street parking or park a block or two away for less expensive parking. Bourse food is best avoided, it is like ballpark or theater food, high price, low quality. There are any number of mid-priced restaurants within walking distance, with much better food for a similar price.

I have a table, BUT,

I am awaiting the birth of my 3rd grandchild, overdue since yesterday. I have not made reservations yet since I may need to be here for a Bris if the baby is a boy. The Bris is done on the 8th day of life. Consequently, I may not be there.

If the baby is a girl, there will be a baby naming at a to be scheduled time, and I will be able to attend.

Regardless, I will be there in spirit.

I am on call for jury duty that week. I'd like to be at LB on Thursday, if possible. May bring my SO, though she has misgivings about being in a room with a bunch of fat, middle-aged guys who smell bad

I'll be another one of the "unusuals" going to the show I guess

Will be roaming around looking for pennies and probably hanging out at the Long Beach coin club table too. Still thinking about doing a last minute collector display that I think would be pretty neat

I'm glad I'm in the "unusual" club because I think we will have waaaaay more fun than the "usual" club folks - neener, neener Todd!

And that's too funny about you jury duty guys, because I just got off the phone to postpone mine! I was scheduled for the week after Long Beach but we're going to Laughlin/Mojave Lake on Thursday and I wouldn't want my civic duty getting in the way of having some fun!!

While I was planning to be there, my Dad has had a super rare side effect to his chemo. So unfortunately I have to cancel this time to be up here in Oregon where I have been for the past 10 days.

Hopefully things will be better over the next several days so I can resume my schedule. Some encouragement but its tough in so many ways.

Have a good show all and see you in LB in the Fall.

I really thank you for the kind offer. But I get Chemo on Wednesday and that pretty

well takes me down for the count, for the rest of that week. Hopefully, I will make the

next show, the Good Lord willing. By the way, I know am the proud owner of my own

wheel chair. I wanted it in blue, but the model only comes in black. A rather somber

color If you ask me.
