What do you think will happen to MS63/64 Morgans and Peace greysheet values?
With the the big two day drop in silver?
If a promotion is being put in place, will the prices stay where they are, or will they head down as silver goes down?

Morgan Dollar prices were only recently, and for a very short time, adjusted to this high silver price, so
they should equally come back down, although lowering the price will probably be slower than the
speed by which the price increased in the price guides!
I agree with you on this if the price of silver were the sole driver. However I thought I heard a large player was getting ready for a promotion and that's really what moved the market so quickly.

Greysheet numbers are based on bids from before last week. Consequently, Greysheet numbers on generic and commonly traded coins are not accurate. In a rising market Greysheet is lower than current bids, in a declining market Greysheet is higher than realistic bids.
So far today the bids on Morgan and Peace dollars have retreated across the board although the numbers are mostly higher than what they were ten days ago.

I have noticed several auctions selling 100 or more dollars, that ended Friday or just earlier. (Obviously selling for melt.)
Can you imagine having that order returned with a 7 day policy, plus adding in shipping times? Even if you state selling for melt or bullion, EBay will ALWAYS side with the buyer if the wish to return it.
That being said, I hope my local got buried since Monday. Most rude, terrible, insulting person on the planet. I just wish I would have unloaded a couple hundred face on him Friday! HAHAHA
