Very nice when I try to get high grades I look at all you say and I look at the center of the coin like her hand on the olive branch if you can see her fingers then it was fully struck and will be a bit higher in grade.
Solid coin for the grade. The strike is really not unusual on a 44P, most of them were well struck. If that coin was a 44S with that strike, now that would be exceptional! Actually coins like this in MS65 are why I have very few of the late dates in my set in grades higher than 65....why would I pay X more money to get a coin in 66 or 67, when you are essentially getting the same coin with a nice MS 65, at a much lower price? Then with the savings I could focus on better grades for the early dates, which are genuinely scarce.
Really like the peripheral toning -- chatter in right obverse field would keep it out of a 67 holder but I am a bit surprised that it graded 65. It certainly looks like a great example for MS65. Read Walkerguy21D's post closely -- a lot of truth there.

Yeah, this one really looks like a 66, technically as well as "eye appeal." PCGS did a good job on this pictures too; the rim toning has all these great colors mixed in that I was hoping they would capture, which they did!
