Coin/Card Mailday (a first)

Hi Guys
I'm just starting to collect coins as well as cards, and today was my first coin/card mailday. I think I like the American Gold coins (oh no says my wallet)... thanks to Fishteeth (Chris) for the $5 Gold. Here they are:

    um, nice coin, but whats the relationship between the coin-card

    No relationship aside from the fact they arrived in my mailbox on the same day. thought it would be cool to show 2 of my collecting interests in the same post.

    Very nice VF classic head gold $5! The card is cool too, I dabbled in card shortly, had 3-4 68 Topps Ryans, a Ty Cobb T-206 and other rookies from famous players, even hockey, bought my box of 20, search the card forum and you'll see it, lost interest and sold the cards off. Stuck with coins, paper and stamps. The only cards I have now are Acie Law IV auto this, jersey that, cause, he's an Aggie so I have all his stuff.

    It would be pretty cool if George Morgan engraved his signature in some of the first few Morgans struck image
