At the time of this posting, SCPM is showing a live spot silver price of $47.75. I'm not sure where they get their feed (real-time quotes) from, but it certainly looks legit to me.
I prefer to use Kitco for my quotes. I will go with the close of $46.68 that Kitco has. Most local dealers that I have done business with use Kitco for quotes. The fact that some markets were closed on Good Friday probably has a lot to do with the quote difference. I guess one way to find out if that $47+ silver is legit is when the markets open Sunday night into Monday morning.

There is always a problem when markets are closed on normal business days. Some places protect themselves with a high artificial spot since they cannot use the market to hedge large sales.

<< <i>Interesting fluctuations in price...I would not bank on the quoted price, it does not jive with the rest of the world. >>
