Would you buy this Morgan ??

This is a semi key PCGS MS graded Morgan and looks to be just right for a set
I am working on. But it has spot at 12 o'clock on the reverse that kind of makes
me wonder if I should buy it. Does a coin like this with just one problem keep you
from getting it for your collection??

One day I will learn how to use the elliptical feature on my PhotoMAX program, heck I just learned how to spell the word
it takes time for old dogs and tricks and stuff ya know

If it were me, I would pass and wait for a nicer one down the road.

WAY too distracting of a spot.............PASS!image

  • Thanks, I am really tempted too but each time I see the pictures I know
how I would feel with the coin in hand. I'm going to pass.

Not really. I did had a dog named Spot one time and I liked him.

    Pass.
I couldn`t be happy over time with a spot like that. Impulse is to buy it to fill another hole in your album but sooner or later you`ll find a nicer one and wish you had just waited.

maybe...whats the spot? if the price is right you may be able to send it to the cleaners (NCS) and save it.

Pop is 1,625 in MS63... you might be able to find another one if you don't buy this one! image

The scratch bothers me just as much as the spot. The spot can be removed, not the gouge. Cheers, RickO
