This is what a CBH should look like: 1807 LL

Sometimes you get the chance to snag "THE coin" and have no doubt that this is that permanent fixture in the collection. Take a gander at this '07 Large Letter O-114. Keep in mind that the strike is rather funky for this issue as I have not seen any before with a weak scroll or 5 on the reverse, though the obverse is not too bad. I love to refer to the obverse wear pattern on these as a "Banana", and those that know, will know what I mean, and this coin aint gots it, so to me it is a special snag.

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!
Congrats on the pickup.

I have also never seen that wear pattern on the reverse (scroll and "5"), very interesting indeed!!!
Congrats on the pickup
Graded fairly too. Great eye appeal. A keeper! WTG.

No signs of damage and VERY clean fields.
AU-50 seems slightly generous for this example, mostly from the fact that I cannot see much/any luster
<< <i>Great looking 1807! Nice crusty grey with mottled yellow toning around devices.

You could see the luster better if I were to give it a quick dip...
