This is what a CBH should look like: 1807 LL

Sometimes you get the chance to snag "THE coin" and have no doubt that this is that permanent fixture in the collection. Take a gander at this '07 Large Letter O-114. Keep in mind that the strike is rather funky for this issue as I have not seen any before with a weak scroll or 5 on the reverse, though the obverse is not too bad. I love to refer to the obverse wear pattern on these as a "Banana", and those that know, will know what I mean, and this coin aint gots it, so to me it is a special snag.

An absolutely GREAT example of a VERY tough date and variety.

I have also never seen that wear pattern on the reverse (scroll and "5"), very interesting indeed!!!

    Congrats on the pickup image

Superb. That's a beautiful example of a large stars O.114, not the more common O.112 PCGS also calls large stars.

Graded fairly too. Great eye appeal. A keeper! WTG.

Great looking 1807! Nice crusty grey with mottled yellow toning around devices.
No signs of damage and VERY clean fields.

AU-50 seems slightly generous for this example, mostly from the fact that I cannot see much/any luster

You could see the luster better if I were to give it a quick dip...image
