1983 Reverse Double Die lincolns

hello all, I am a 16 year old colelctor from PA. I cant really afford great coins so I go through boes a lot. I recently went through $46 of customer wrapped rolls of cents. There was about 8001983s and 1984s that were uncriculated. So I looked through those for double dies. I believe I have found two and one possible 1983 double dies. Aparently after looking on gogle theirs idfferent varaiatiosn and I wasnt able to find pics of them or values. So I am wondering if you gusy could help me identify them. And if they are worth anything.
This first one I am posting only has a rasied area coming off of the C in cents and has two raised lines. One over the E in United, and one between the R and I in america. I doubt this is anything special but this coin exhibits traists that the double dies do as well.

Now this cent actually has some doubling going on. Primarily on most characrters in United, also ONE and CEENT display doubling. I wish I could take better pictures, as it shows uo betetr to my eyes.

Lastly this coin has the most significant doubling. Basicall all the doubling in the last with a few new aspects. For one the memorial building is doubled! Also theres a raised dot between C and E in cent. The pictures are bad and i apoligize. Also the coin is dirtier in the first ones, because I cleaned it with JUST hot water after the initial pictures. No rubbing or soap used. yet again sorry about bad pics.

    Thanks for posting up.
Your coins are more in the realm of "die states".
These are not usually described in the Red Book, but they can be pretty interesting.
The raised lines on the first coin look like "die cracks", where the die has small cracks which translate
to small raised lines on the coin.
The third coin has these as well, running from both lower corners of the building to the rim,
and on the left corner of the building.

The small "dots" could be die chips or damage to the die.

"Double die" refers to a technical part of the process where the die is created from multiple off center impressions from the master/hub die.
Features may also look "doubled" on the coin due to the die moving after the main strike of the coin.
This is called "machine doubling damage". It takes some more knowledge to diagnose the difference accurately.

    Welcome to the show coinlova.
What you have is a die chip on the 'C', minor yes but I remember finding my first one.
Also you have minor die breaks on the reverse (raised lines), again, nothing great but in this case interesting. There is/was a chance that the breaks actually ran across the roof of the Memorial and had the die been kept in use much longer may have resulted in a split die, where it actually cracked in half.
Your doubling appears to be minor shelf/strike doubling.

The one coin does have a die crack from the corner of the memorial going in between the R-I of America.

The doubling you see on them is common strike doubling not any doubled dies.

I think you need some better example pics to go by in your searching.
You also might go back and double check the obverses on your 83 and 84 cents because there are some doubled die obverses that are easy to miss without a good pic of what to look for.

It's possible you could find an unlisted variety but most of what you'll find are strike doubled (no value) so you need to understand what's different. For the most part look for the listed ones.

You can learn a lot here! I know I have. Start bookmarking/adding to your web browser favorites for good links you find. There are tons!
I remember searching roles and through my parents' change back in the day! It is always a lot of fun. If you search enough you will find something "Not as the mint intended". Here is one of mine I like. Not valuable...but it is cool!

Purchased for a collector. These are easy to spot and cool as collectibles, in my opinion.

    Exactly!

There's no need for die markers on this one! A loupe is also optional for those under the age of 60. image

    Welcome to the boards!

I recently went through about $50 in cents and also found lots of unc. 1983 and 1984. You should get a set of scales and weigh all the 1983 cents to check for ones struck on a copper planchet. I also weigh 1982-D small dates. I weigh every single one I come across, no luck yetimage
