Turnaround time for Economy?

Friend of mine has an order that was received 3/4. Still no updates. Anyone had recent experience with turnaround times?

Somebody recently said they had a economy order in since, sometimes in Feb., with no results. I guess economy is very slow right now.

I have an economy in since the 15th with nothing yet...same package had a modern submission that grades came on the 31st.

I have a Eco Sub completed this last thursday with grades posted and still not shipped as of yet and I don't think the grades are right But that is just me.

Interesting. Sounds like good news that they are taking so long for Economy. Maybe time to buy more CLCT shares.

You could call them. They will be happy to tell you what their current turnaround time is for a particular service. Also, remember these are Business Days....not just days. I have started to send things Regular Service for two reasons: It speeds things up AND it allows for the possibility of a + which would help a little in the Registry Set Game. I have yet to get a + on anything (I just sent my 3rd coin in today) but maybe one day I will.

Business days and actual days are almost the same as Don Willis said they work on Saturdays including graders.

I have an received 3/11 still nothing. I did get back a free reholder that was in the same package, seperate order though.

Turnaround time for Economy?

Even though it’s kind of OT ---
The Great Depression took a decade to recover. The current mess, will linger for at least another year, unless speculators drive up food and energy prices; that would slow everything for everyone. Europe probably has more to do to fix its banking systems that the US.

Yep, I, too, first thought this thread was about the turnaround of THE economy, not the PCGS service level. My last economy level submission took about 45 days, from the day they got it to the day I got it back.

They still seem to be running slow. They are going to use every one of those 20-30 business days they have listed if not more. They have had my submission since 3/25 without any updates. The end of this week will complete the 30 business days. Seems like an eternity has passed by while waiting and checking my status

Express orders are indeed running slow. I have an Economy order in now. My hope is the graders take their time, and give me the best grades they can. Waiting for Economy is to be expected.

Well if I go with Don's numbers I should have them by the end of this week. If I go with your numbers I should have them by the end of the month

Edited to add: Just got my grades in. 29 business days and within the 20-30 day estimate.
